We made the trip to Summerfield Farms for an engagement session with these two. It’s extremely common that venues allow couples to utilize the property for session for FREE. Don’t know if your venue does this? Just ask! It’s a great way to see how the venue looks in your photos, to get more comfortable at the venue, and to introduce your photog to the venue.
Traditionally, bridal sessions are done at wedding venues, and I love when couples decide to do their engagement sessions at the wedding venue, too!
This couple is getting married at Summerfield Farms next June. We were super excited to check the venue out and get to see it!
We were mesmerized by these tall oak trees and the sun peeking through the trees! We did this session in the middle of the afternoon, which can be a challenging time to take photos. This venue, however, provided the perfect amount of shade to make for some incredibly dreamy photos.
Umm…how perfect are these colors? I love the way that the purple and blues of their outfits really complements the colors of the hydrangeas! I’m super jealous, by the way, of the beautiful blooms. I’ve accidentally killed all of our hydrangea plants. **CRY**
