Choosing a photographer for the photos you will cherish for a lifetime is SUCH an important decision. I want to make sure that you are able to make the most informed, confident decision possible.
I’ve put some of the most common questions I’ve received below, but if your answer isn’t here please don’t hesitate to reach out!
What is your editing style?
Our style is best described as true-to-color. We embrace what your venue and nature give us. We capture the light and airy feeling of wedding ceremonies in churches full of natural light. When we photograph engagement sessions in flower gardens, the photos are vibrant and colorful.
While some photographers evoke emotion with moody editing, dusty desaturation, or amplified warm tones, we prefer a timeless, classic look. The colors and mood of our photos will match what you and your guests experienced in the actual moment. Skin tones, tux colors, flowers all exactly as they are meant to be. This approach will ensure your photos stand the test of time as you look back on them weeks, months, and years later.
The “before” image shows the photo straight from the camera. The “after” image shows the photo after being lightly edited. Love it? Me too!
How will I receive my photos?
We provide a private, sharable, and downloadable gallery of lightly-edited, high-quality digital images from your session. With our wedding packages, there are no fees, watermarks, or paywalls. For some of our discounted sessions (like minis) we provide a credit towards a certain number of prints and/or downloads, with your full gallery available for purchase. In all cases, you have full rights to your photos for personal use. We do ask that you tag our business when you share our work on social media to help us grow!
Can I buy prints?
We are partnered with a WONDERFUL store that provides high quality prints, canvases, albums, cards, and just about anything you can think of. The best part? It’s seamlessly connected to your private online gallery.
Do you travel?
Yes! We are based in downtown Raleigh and serve North Carolina. We love to travel for weddings, so reach out with whatever you have in mind. Most of our smaller sessions are within a 1-hour drive of Raleigh, but just ask if you have another idea. We love the NC mountains and beaches!
I am nervous about having my picture taken!
It’s not a question, but it’s something we hear from our clients all the time! We’ll bring positivity, professionalism, and good vibes to your photo session. We have plenty of experience posing our clients, but we rely even more on prompts to create beautiful candid moments. We LOVE authentic photographs.
