My husband and I really enjoyed working with Kaitlyn for our wedding photos and would recommend! We knew right from the start that Putt Photography was a great fit for us because Kaitlyn was easy to get along with, answered all our questions, and offered great suggestions for us to consider.

Kaitlyn made it a point not only to figure out the logistics of the day itself, but to get to know us as a couple. During our chats with her, she put in the extra time to give us suggestions on how to prepare for the big day and even a few bars to party at after!

On the day-of, Kaitlyn knew exactly what we wanted to have happen in terms of pictures, made sure everyone fell in line when they needed to, and adapted to our needs as plans changed due to some family members having to tap out early. Beyond just this, Kaitlyn went above and beyond, demonstrating her mastery of the craft by demonstrating the pictures that would end up looking breathtaking (spoiler alert: they WERE). It was also thanks to her we got some lifelong memories at the Raleigh capital building, which I am sure will be going up on our wall soon. By the end of the evening, Kaitlyn felt like one of the crew, and we were sad to see her go.

We loved receiving our previews the next day and the full gallery was delivered to us within the timeline Kaitlyn provided. Putt Photography does not do anything super flashy with their editing (which is fine by us, we love the natural look!) and because of that they were able to capture us as we were on one of the best days of our lives.

There are absolutely no words to describe how truly wonderful Kaitlyn and Schuyler are. From our first phone call with Kaitlyn, we felt at ease knowing we had found the perfect team to capture the process of our engagement through our wedding. Kaitlyn and Schuyler captured our engagement session, my bridal portraits, my wife’s bridal portraits, and our wedding. All of the sessions turned out better than expected! We got to learn a lot about them throughout our wedding planning and feel comfortable saying we’ve not only found the photographers we will choose to work with for life, we also made new friends in the process.

My wife and I are not comfortable in front of a camera, but Kaitlyn takes the lead and will direct you through the entire process. Her energetic and contagious personality make the sessions fun, enjoyable, and has you leaving confident in what will be the final results! They are professional, extremely responsive, and provide an unheard of turnaround result. Being in a band, I’ve worked with several photographers and none have amounted to the professionalism and knowledge that Kaitlyn and Schuyler have.

Lastly, if you’re in the LGBTQ+ community and like my wife and I, we were worried about finding a photographer that was comfortable capturing a same-sex couple. If you can relate, do not look any further than Kaitlyn and Schuyler. I promise they know exactly what they’re doing and will produce results better than you could ever have envisioned possible! We had someone in our wedding party that uses they/them pronouns. I’m unsure if Kaitlyn knew this for certain, but it was evident that during the capturing of our wedding party, she made a conscious effort to use inclusive language throughout the session. It was an added touch that truly set them apart.

As said before, there are not enough words to describe what Kaitlyn and Schuyler have done for us. They perfectly captured the love between my wife and I and we will forever be grateful for the work they have done. Kaitlyn and Schuyler are a dynamic duo and an absolute blessing and joy to work with. Thank you so so much for all that you two have done for us!

Kaitlyn and Schuyler made the entire process from choosing them to shoot our wedding - the actual wedding, so comfortable, fun, and very easy. They were always very easy to work with, were able to accommodate the many requests our families had for photos (and there were a lot), we always available to answer questions, and the price was excellent. After we did our engagement photos and saw how they worked and the quality of their work I didn't worry for 1 second that our wedding photos and the way they handled everything would be done phenomenally.
