Hey y’all,

I’m a southern-born, Midwest-raised photographer having an absolute blast shooting weddings, engagements, proposals, and portraits around North Carolina.

I’m a passionate photographer obsessed with capturing madly-in-love couples! For me, photography began when I was in high school and I feel so fortunate that I get to continue telling stories through my work.

When I’m not behind a camera, I enjoy being outdoors on hikes or runs, drinking coffee on the porch, and cuddling with my fur babies, Millie (pictured) and Ben. Since becoming first time home owners, Schuyler and I have also really enjoyed home improvement projects and gardening.

I’m the lucky guy married to Kaitlyn! I can’t wait to help tell your story with my photography or videography. To be there on your biggest day to capture the small moments is such a privilege.

My love of photography started early. I was the annoying friend in school snapping candid pictures of moments big and small. A decade later, those photos prevent precious and hilarious memories from fading. Later I got into music production and video editing, skills which help me use soundbites from your big day - ceremony, vows, and speeches - to tell YOUR story in a purely authentic way.

I cherish the opportunity to help others preserve their treasured memories with professional photos. I’m lucky to have the beautiful state of North Carolina as a backdrop. I don’t think anywhere else in the country can compete with North Carolina’s beaches, mountains, and everything in between.

Millie

Hi, my name is Amelia Oreo Earhart, but I usually go by Millie (unless I’m in trouble). I joined Putt Photography in April 2020. My favorite hobbies include eating, chasing squirrels at the dog park, playing tug-of-war, and eating.

Some of my unique skills include running about 40 miles per hour, eating 4 bananas when my parents aren’t looking, and ensuring that everyone in the neighborhood knows when the mailman is on our front porch. I’m not allowed to come to sessions, but if you visit our at-home studio, I will be sure to give you lots of kisses and love.

Ben

Hi, my name is Ben, and I’m a foster fail! (or a foster WIN depending on who you ask)

In the fall of 2021, Kaitlyn and Schuyler were fostering pups and helping them connect with their furever homes. Then I came along. I don’t have quite as big of a voice as Millie. I mostly communicate with kisses. I’ve learned about so many things in my first few months with my people (walks, baths, stairs, belly rubs), and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Some people say that I look a lot like Millie, but I don’t see the resemblance!
