Last weekend we had the pleasure of walking through the historic Leslie-Alford-Mims House, AKA Mims House! We are SO EXCITED to be hosting mini sessions at this beautiful venue on Sunday, April 3rd. We just can’t resist giving you a taste of what you’ll see at your Mims House Minis.
Let me begin by saying that Mims House is GORGEOUS. This place oozes historical elegance and southern charm. We can see why it’s taking off as a wedding venue. Located in downtown Holly Springs, NC (just twenty minutes from downtown Raleigh), the property is shaded by beautiful magnolia trees. If it’s this picturesque in January, can you imagine how pretty it’s going to be in April?
Mims House is PERFECT for mini sessions. The portrait possibilities are ENDLESS. Your 20-minute session will include several photo spots, taking advantage of the indoor AND outdoor scenery. Inside, you’ll love the original hardwood floors, glimmering chandeliers, and abundant natural light. The whole home has a light and airy feel and a dreamy southern charm.
Outside, we’ll take your photos on the beautiful, sprawling white porch. We’ll also take advantage of the shady pergola with its handsome brick patio and vibrant green ivy.
